WHAT IS THE FRANKENMUDDER
Over the past 15 years, museums across the country, have found it increasingly difficult to remain open on admission funding alone. In addition to seeking grants and private donations, many museums have come up with creative events to help support their educational missions. The Michigan Heroes Museum uses the funds from the FrankenMüdder in order to offset costs associated with: daily operations of the museum, educational programs (K-12), ongoing research, special exhibits including our “Hero Next Door Program” (traveling displays to honor local hometown heroes), and preservation of our artifacts. The friends of the Michigan Heroes Museum would like to thank all the FrankenMudder participants as every penny of your entry fee goes to help us Honor, Respect and Remember our state’s Heroes.
